When we first commissioned a portrait of our beloved dog Semmel, we felt a bit nervous. As a rescue with a heartbreaking past, she is also a true testament to resilience and strength, and we deeply hoped that somehow this could be captured in her portrait.

 

Little did we know that Judy is not only an incredibly talented artist, but also someone with a profound sense of compassion, understanding, and empathy. Her work speaks for itself. She captured Semmel’s essence so beautifully—her strength, her courage, and even her sassiness—bringing out a depth that left us truly speechless.

Judy’s art work is truly phenomenal! The doctor Dolittle of the art world. It’s almost as if my cat is about to leap out of the frame. Every physical detail down my cat’s silly facial expression  was not left out. Definitely worth the money!
